Phenomenon   [...] navy museum visit. In the main hall, models of bulbous galleons where nearly as big as small boats. Tiny cannons were carefully parked in the sides set with small hatches. According to wood pieces' dimensions and finish, they were cabinetwork. In these scales optimized for exhibition, all these ships models appeared to me like buoyant furniture; shell-furniture made for travelling. I dreamt to purify these shapes from what turn them into ships, keep only what gave me movement and precarious security feelings. The result is the union of transportation and protection objects : a cask, a little boat, a cradle, a coffin. It will be lovely in place of the sofa, if my wife agrees [...]
